Welcome to First Apostolic Church Be a Part the family of God

Our Vision

The vision of First Apostolic Church of North Vernon is to be a Kingdom-minded ministry that reaches our community and world. We are led by the Holy Ghost and strive to inspire the born-again believer to live victoriously through submission and heartfelt worship to God, and the application of the Word of God.
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

A Place For You

First Apostolic Church is a church that believes in Jesus,

a church that loves God and people.

Our Mission

The mission of First Apostolic Church of North Vernon is to be a ministry-driven church. To encourage and empower each ministry for growth and spiritual enrichment in the people to whom they minister. Working together in unity, to fulfill the vision of the church.

Acts 2:42

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

All Are Welcome

I have had the privilege to have been the pastor of First Apostolic Church from 1987 until 2019. During my 32 years in this position, I have met many great people and have made several great friends. We love the people of our city and the members of our congregation. Even though I am retired from the pastoral duties of the church, my wife (Sheila) and I want to give you a personal invitation to be in service with us.

William (John) Willis

Pastor Emeritus
